HTMA stand for Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis.
Simply put, we take a small amount of your hair, mail it to the lab, and they tell us what your minerals are doing based on their presence in your hair.

For a body to properly heal, hydrate, detox, methylate and more, it needs balanced mineral levels. Starting a protocol without measuring and adjusting minerals (if need be) will slow your healing process and add stress to your body.
This HTMA is a great way to see historic data because this measures what's happening over the last 3 months with your minerals.
Measuring minerals in your blood can sometimes miss what's really going on. And, some minerals aren't always sitting in the blood.
As the body gets more stressed from illness, minerals will start getting deposited in tissue, creating toxic effects.
We also find inflamed bodies (especially people with mold toxicity or Lyme disease) will burn through certain minerals and we can measure this best in HTMA.
Yes, it does require cutting some hair. And, we can't just use long strands and cut them up into small pieces. We can only use the first 1.5" from the scalp out, the rest must be discarded.

But, if you have longer hair, you can simply take it from where it other hair will cover it when let back down.
How-to videos and step by step instructions will be emailed to you.
You can do this from home without anything extra required, you don't even get a kit in the mail, just instructions. You then just mail the sample to the lab with a stamp.
It really is one of the most affordable and simple labs.
